Along with our founders, Trish Clark, Sandy Landers and Becky Hendrick, volunteer drivers and support staff work diligently. We monitor transport sites, contact and work with other transport agencies and rescues and train volunteers while keeping up with the rules and regulations of inter- and intrastate transport. This has been especially critical during these past two years with Covid-19
Seeing a need for an energetic nonprofit to support our community's animal overpopulation problem, in January 2019, we formed Going Home, A Rescue Transport We are a 501 (c) 3 Non Profit Organization. We purchased a van that we use for transport as well as personal vehicles. There is never a charge for the sending or receiving rescue, although we are grateful for donations to cover gas and maintenance for our van.
Our volunteers work with rescue organizations all over the country so we can respond quickly to a plea for help in getting an animal out of a shelter or unsafe situation and into a loving place. From an 8 ounce kitten, 2 pound chihuahua puppy , 125 pound Doberman, blind senior, medical rescues, newborns, new moms, we have moved them all
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
